Rain in a coffee mug

It is pouring outside. And the Piscean mystique within my late March Arien soul is delighted. While the two-tonned clouds of the southwest monsoon is firing grape shots, every Indian is bound to fall in love!

It's the time of the year when Nargises and Raj Kapoors fanned out their umbrella in the silver screen and looked into each other's eyes with platonic intent! Their eye contact - but many souls caught fire!

Meanwhile, this liquid sunshine means a lot more things. It rabble-rouse zillion more memories, from paper boats to cutting chais & chotta gold flakes; the luscious childhoods to the lonely dissolutions in the end.

While many more deep/dark emotions & a lot folds more celebrating exuberance of joyfulness can take their cut too, what is it actually meant to be? Well the acumen replies its central matter of fact. As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower, bread for the eater & the contributes to the imperative flow of life.
But each of them, takes many more different roles. Writers get inspired & killers are set with a better stage. These cloud bursts play stoic backdrop script for movies, novels & cardinally, OUR LIVES. Don't you remember the last time when you tried sleeping on your tear sodden pillows with the window washing showers all around you?

Again the next monsoon rain will still bring joy and hopes around, it excites us to stay lazy :). It draws the cozy blankets back on us & lure us to draft sick leave emails in the morning :) It suggests to get back to the window side with your best books & a cup of coffee. A rain, a good book and a coffee cup - what else you need for eternal happiness :)
