Happiness .......may be just a phone call away!!

I answered a telephone call just now!!!!!!!!
From an old friend I'd not heard from for a long time.
'Hi,' she said.
'I just wanted to see how you're getting along.'

For suchlike reasons, our paths had simply not crossed for a protracted time.
It was good to talk with her. I wondered why we hadn't kept in touch better.
Toward the end of the conversation, she said,
'If you need me in any way, I'll be happy to help out.'
And she meant it!
-What if she doesn’t does not make a question! Let’s take things positively at least when they make us happy :-)

That call came at just the right time, as they so often do.
I needed those words of encouragement, a hug or a kiss on my forehead.
I hung up the phone feeling a satisfying lump of warmth in my chest.

And that day I re-learned something important about life:
Life is primarily about people, not plans and schedules,
Not to-do lists and a million tasks left undone -
it's about PEOPLE-who really matter!

To love and to know that we are loved is the greatest happiness of existence.
And happiness seems to be something that is in short supply for too many of us!
My friend reminded me that it is never enough just to love; we must also express it.What good are our affectionate feelings towards others if we don't find ways to let them know?

George William put it like this:
'Do not keep the alabaster box of your love and friendship
sealed up until your friends are dead.
Fill their lives with sweetness.
Speak approving, cheering words
While their ears can hear them and
While their hearts can be thrilled and made happier.

The kind things you mean to say when they are gone, say before they go.'

Be Atheist, Theist or Agonist. But in any cause, Be a Humanist

Are you a believer in God or not? The answer for this does not seem easy even though the question remembers an Engineering Entrance objective question (obviously, which weren’t easier either!). Actually, many of us are not quite sure about the answer. Many one are born as an agonist, brought up as a theist and end up so. What is the real God? Does he exist? Does he command the entire world?
There are always a lot of questions which run through my mind when thought about this? Here goes my view on this aspect.

According to all religions God is there and he had incarnated into the human race to teach us the virtues and vice in human life. The teachings, ideas and deeds of those incarnated idols are the religious theologies of any religion. Depending on the cultural, environmental and social ethnicities; they assigned best of their habits to the Gods. This must have made Sreeraman a one woman husband or Krishna a supreme warrior. If you scrutinize you can see that all of the holy man-manifestations have been made in the culture of the specific geographical region from where the particular region has bloomed up. This is reflected in the nature, skills and even food habits of all such god embodiments.

The Truth: I am neither experienced nor informative enough to make a statement! But what counts here is my belief and here it goes. I am a perfect believer of god, but not the one the people refer to. I believe that the name ‘GOD’ refers to the power of all virtues spread over this world. Any of those virtues; be it love, sympathy or humanity. Any of them make us feel the existence of supreme power in any agony faced. When it comes to creation of this universe I go clueless. During that time, I almost fell into0 the rare classification of nagoists who believe that God had existed and he created the universe, but then the supreme power has disappeared. But as I know and I believe, I like to be a true humanist who wants to believe that the accumulative supreme power that created the universe has dispersed into ourselves as the humanitarian qualities which keep us humane and civilized. We need to be united with those qualities to make god appear or disappear to the needy and helpless. Does this make any sense that without “God” (the qualities I referred to)
human cannot exist as we will be no longer so. If our virtues are not cemented in ourselves then for sure, this land will go to dogs!
